I grew up in a small farming-industrial town in Indiana where I learned the love of photography from my dad. At the age of 15, he purchased a Canon AE-1 for me and began teaching me how to see the world through the lens.
After graduating from high school, I moved to Michigan where I met my husband and continued to take photographs of the beauty there. A few years later we moved to Ohio and I spent the next several years as a portrait, wedding and modeling photographer. For the past two years I have spent my time learning wildlife photography, particularly birds. However, my love for nature, particularly macro/close-up photography, is where my true passion is.
Living on the North coast of Lake Erie and spending time in the woodlands here at the tip of the Appalachian mountain range gives me plenty of photographic opportunities year round. I love being in nature and capturing all the big and little landscapes it has to offer.
Thank for visiting my page and sharing in my love of photography.
